Anthony Damato
Anthony Damato is Co-Founder of eDelta Consulting and a driving force behind the growth and evolution of the firm’s assurance practice. With more than 30 years of experience in IT consulting and information systems auditing, he has guided organizations through complex regulatory environments spanning Sarbanes-Oxley, PCI, SOC 1 and SOC 2, ISO, NIST, HIPAA/HITRUST, and federal banking regulations.
Anthony leads eDelta’s PCI and SOC practices, overseeing assurance engagements for cloud providers, retail, healthcare, and financial services organizations, while continuously strengthening the firm’s methodology, quality standards, and technical depth. Anthony also serves as a key mentor to our growing team, focused on translating his depth of knowledge to the up and coming generation of cybersecurity professionals and leaders.
Prior to co-founding eDelta, Anthony served as a Senior Manager in Ernst & Young’s New York ISAAS Financial Services Group, where he directed large-scale financial services engagements and developed comprehensive audit plans, budgets, and client proposals. His leadership combines deep expertise with practical guidance, helping clients build resilient control environments. Anthony holds a Graduate Certificate in Networks & Telecommunications from Pace University and a B.S. in Mathematics from the State University of New York - an academic foundation that reinforces his analytical precision and fluency across complex assurance and cybersecurity environments.
